Professional Development for educators, parents and school garden volunteers

We know from talking to schools that one of the biggest hurdles in maintaining school gardens is the continuous management of them. We provide various learning opportunities for educators, staff, parents and volunteers to learn the skills, gather resources and communication tools to build and maintain gardens. We would love to hear from you if your school could benefit from a tailored program onsite, or at our urban farm. Sessions include building and maintaining irrigation, building wicking beds, understanding pests and diseases, safety in gardens, tool maintenance, fruit tree pruning, volunteer management and coordination and more.
